The Story of My Project and What it's About

In march 2020 I created a Instagram page dedicated to sharing my passion for Chance the Rappers music and it was called "Chances Kingdom" The page ended up gaining around 600 followers and even led to me even meeting Chance.

For the past 5 years the page has been on a hiatus. I lost the passion to keep posting. When I created the page I was a senior in high school and I am now a Senior in college. Just like I have grown, my taste for art has too. The passion has come back and it's stronger than before except now that passion is to express my love for various forms of art.

Art is beautiful, art is life and life is beautiful. Art can be found in any place you look for it and I have found some things that I find beautiful and I want to share them and my thoughts on them with the world.

Welcome to my passion project. :)

About Me

Hi, I’m Avery!

I was born in North Carolina and grew up surrounded by sports, spending countless summers on the baseball field and going to Braves games with my dad and brother. I played baseball, basketball, and football for most of my life, with my dad always coaching my teams. That stayed the same until I was 13, when I decided to step away from playing sports and focus on something new music.

That shift led me to join various choirs and learn how to play multiple instruments, sparking a passion for music that’s stuck with me ever since. Artists like Chance the Rapper, Harry Styles, Elton John, and Queen shaped my love for music, and over time, that love expanded into a deep appreciation for all forms of art.

Now, I'm college student at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte.I’m an English major with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in Film Studies. My passions still include sports, music, writing and Film and Entertainment. This blog is a space for my self expression a place where I can share the things that inspire me, from the art I love to the stories that move me.
